Network for Managers of Corporate/Employee Volunteers-Guidelines Print E-mail

It is intended that this network’s membership comprise of managers and coordinators of corporate/employee volunteer programs from various not for profit organisations, including health, community support and cultural agencies.

The aim of this network is to meet regularly to share information, ideas and experiences about corporate/employee volunteer engagement, to provide peer support, and to discuss issues of concern about this type of volunteering.

Membership is open to any individual (in a paid or unpaid role) working with, having a connection to or an interest in corporate/employee volunteers and volunteering.  There is no geographical restriction on membership (i.e. it is not necessary to work in the city).

Meeting dates and venues to be established, initially, in various venues in the city and Melbourne suburbs, and to be hosted by Network members.

The host provides morning tea and members are asked to contribute per meeting to cover catering costs.   The host is expected to chair the meeting and the minute taker is the host of the next scheduled meeting.

Members are expected to attend a minimum of two meetings per year.  The membership list will be updated regularly and members who have not attended at least two meetings within a year will be removed from the list.  Members may apply to rejoin at any time by contacting the facilitator.
